Position Description

Bay Transit is seeking a part-time driver for the VCU Tappahannock RivahRide fixed route. You must have a valid Virginia Class “B” CDL with passenger endorsement driver’s license and a valid DOT physical; high school diploma or GED required; be at least twenty-one years of age and three years driving experience is preferred. Must have an excellent driving record and customer service skills. Driving positions may require some evening and weekend work for special transportation requests. $18.00 per hour; applications may be submitted online here and at any of the Bay Transit offices in New Kent, Gloucester and Warsaw, Va.
